This a break down of the General Education courses and what you should be enrolling in for Fall.

Registration for fall classes will take place on Day 2 of New Student Orientation (NSO). Students must complete the Directed Self-Placement (DSP) Survey prior to NSO.

1️⃣ Based on the DSP, you may be pre-enrolled in the following ENG course:

• GE area A2, Written Communication: ENG 108 or ENG 110
  • If ENG 110 is full, please select to take:
    • GE area A1, Oral Communication: THE 120 OR
    • GE area A3, Logic/Critical Thinking: PHI 120 or PSY 110

2️⃣ Based on your MATH Pathway, you may be pre-enrolled in the following MATH course:

• GE area B4, Quantitative Reasoning: MAT 131, MAT 132, or MAT 134
  • MAT 131, MAT 132, and MAT 134 are the same course.
  • If you need a little more help with Math, I would encourage you to enroll in MAT 132 since it provides a supplemental instruction component.

3️⃣ Select one of the following courses from GE area C1, Arts: ART 100, DAN 130, MUS 101, or THE 100

4️⃣ Select one course from GE area E, Lifelong Learning: UNV 101 recommended - different topics

5️⃣ Select one course from GE area F, Ethnic Studies
